History, Electroweak interactions and Neutrino Scattering

02 Aug 20251 min read

Neutrinos are electrically neutral fermions which are part of the SU(2)L doublet. They undergo weak interactions with force carriers W and Z bosons.

Note: m(W±)∼80GeVm(Z)∼91GeV

∑imνi≲1eV

Neutrinos in the Standard Model are described by the Weyl spinors with left chirality: PL=21(1−γ5)
